Restaurants
Known as the “Garden
of France,” the Loire Valley’s cuisine is a microcosm
of the best in French cooking. Numerous types of fruits and vegetables
are grown here, freshwater fish such as pike and shad come directly
from the rivers in the Valley, and wild game from the nearby Sologne
forest are prominent in the region’s dishes. The restaurants
